Supposed to be ancient technology tour! I'd say 4/5 of the time was spent at known dynastic limestone temples. I got ten minutes at the colossi and two hours on the Giza plateau, I'd have had basically no time on the Giza plateau had I followed the group and spent the entire time listening to another person that thinks they know things but certainly doesn't. I did this as was under the impression that it was Trevor's tour, it wasn't, it was entirely controlled by SABA, it was their itinerary including many shops they obviously are getting a cut from wasting time we could have uesd at ancient sites. I got to see many things, most of which I had no interest in. I would never do SABA again and will discourage anybody else from doing so. It was Trevor Grassi that got me into this but I got the distinct impression he was railroaded by SABA, led by another person that seems to think he knows it all. Accommodation, travel and food were adequate. Two days minimum would be required walking the Giza plateau on something sold as ancient technology tour!!! I do feel a little fooled by it all. $8000 for a tour I'd have made for pensioners (old people)! I'm sure Trevor feels the same but is too nice to say so. If he uses you again then he's not who I believed him to be.
Recovering Lost Technologies, Egypt tour March 2026
Dear Steven, We were genuinely surprised and disappointed to read your review, especially because we are confident that the **Recovering Lost Technologies – March 2026** tour was one of the most ambitious and content-rich tours ever organized around this subject in Egypt. This tour was never presented as a simple “Giza Plateau only” program, nor was it designed to be only one person’s tour. It was a **Saba Tours itinerary**, organized and operated by Saba Tours, with **Trevor Grassi** as a valued guest researcher and speaker, alongside several other contributors and presenters. The purpose of the tour was to explore lost technologies, ancient construction, symbolism, engineering, sacred architecture, and unexplained aspects of Ancient Egypt across many different sites — not only at Giza. We also feel it is important to correct the impression that Trevor was somehow “railroaded” or unhappy with Saba Tours. Trevor Grassi is already working with Saba Tours again on his **2nd annual tour in January 2027**, and at least **five participants from the March 2026 tour are joining that next tour** because they want to continue learning more about Ancient Egypt with us. That speaks clearly to the quality of the experience and the trust built during the tour. The program included **six private/special visits**, which is exceptionally rare for a tour at this price level. These included: * Private visit to the **Osirion** * Private access to **Esna Temple** * Private visit to **Abu Rawash Pyramid** * Private visit to the **Step Pyramid** * Private visit to the **Great Pyramid** * Private visit to the **Sphinx enclosure** A tour with this number of private visits alone could easily cost far more — often in the range of **$14,000 or more** — yet we worked very hard to include these experiences within the tour price. In addition to that, the group visited **Abu Simbel**, the **Serapeum**, the two pyramids of **Dahshur**, Karnak Temple with special access to the **Open Air Museum** and the **Chapel of the Seven Gates**, Edfu Temple where we discussed Atlantis symbolism, Kom Ombo where we discussed gravity control, and many other important sites connected to the themes of the tour. The educational side of the tour also included presentations and contributions from **Mohamed Ibrahim, Trevor Grassi, Frank Regula, Christopher Dunn, Armando Mei, Filippo Biondi**, and others. So to describe the tour as mostly unrelated to ancient technology does not fairly represent what was actually delivered. Regarding the shopping stops, we must be very clear: these were not designed to waste time or replace ancient sites. They are part of many Egypt itineraries for guests who want access to local crafts, oils, papyrus, alabaster, jewelry, or other Egyptian products. No guest was forced to buy anything, and the main itinerary, private visits, transportation, hotels, domestic travel, and site access remained the priority throughout. We also feel it is important to say that group travel requires cooperation and respect for timing. You were late on several days, and the group had to wait for you more than once. That affects the schedule and the experience of other guests, especially on a complex itinerary involving flights, buses, boats, site permissions, private access, and strict timing with the authorities. We also need to address a matter of fairness. Our team assisted you with your entry visa fee, and you did not settle the **$30** before departure despite being reminded. You also confirmed that you would pay the **$200 tipping amount** at the end of the tour. Based on that, we distributed tips to drivers, hotel staff, cruise staff, local teams, and supporting crew. Unfortunately, you left without settling that amount as well, again despite reminders from our assistant. Of course, every guest has the right to their opinion, and not every tour is the right fit for every traveler. But we strongly disagree with the impression given in your review. The tour delivered an exceptional number of rare experiences, private visits, expert presentations, and advanced discussions connected to the very subject of lost technologies and ancient mysteries. We are proud of the work our team did, and we are grateful that many other participants from the same tour described it as life-changing, highly educational, beautifully organized, and worth every dollar paid. We wish you well, but we do not believe your review gives a fair or balanced reflection of the tour, the itinerary, or the effort made by Saba Tours and the entire team. **Saba Tours**

To: Mohammed, Noah and the entire Saba Team. This twelve day journey through Egypt was absolutely incredible. From day one, it was clear we were in the hands of a team who genuinely cared. Mohammed, is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Egypt’s history and culture and funny too with an open mind. Noha, his wife made sure everything ran smoothly and went over every detail of the trip with care. They completely made us feel like we were part of their own family and went above and beyond at every turn, whether it was explaining the significance of ancient sites, accommodating our needs, or simply making us laugh over dinner. The entire Saba Team is very courteous, respectful and extremely thorough! We truly felt welcomed, respected, and looked after throughout the entire trip. We exchanged thoughts, ideas and had engaging conversations! If you’re considering touring Egypt, don’t hesitate, Saba Tours is #1. This experience was once in a lifetime, and it’s thanks to the extraordinary people who guided us. Highly recommended and five Stargates all of the way😜 If I could give them more stars I would. Respectfully, Rose and Armand from Chicago

An incredible experience. We met a fantastic group of like minded adventurers & experienced a once in a lifetime journey into the mysterious antiquity of Egypt's unknown past. Visiting close to 2 dozen sites in the almost 2 week long tour, we were inundated with evidence of advanced technology from Egypt's ancient past. The guides Mohammed & Ahmed were very knowledgeable & willing to think outside the box of modern academia to explain their beliefs on the mysteries of the ancients. The tour group was well taken care of & every concession was made available to enrich our experience & provide us with as much comfort as the desert would allow. We traveled to relatively unknown sites like Tanis, to the super famous like the Great Pyramid itself. We visited temples, museums, pyramids, marketplaces, & more. There is so much to see & experience it's impossible to take it all in. We had folks who had been with Saba Tours before & had to come back & experience it all again, some had been several times, & they still saw things & experienced things they hadn't in prior visits. We made lifelong friends & have memories that are beyond priceless of our Grand Egyptian Tour. It is something I'll think back on for the rest of my life. The mystery, the awe inspiring scale of the ancients' engineering, the incredible workmanship, the impossible masonry, & more. It was well worth any difficulty in getting to Cairo for this fantastic experience. I very much recommend for anyone that has a fascination with Egypt & it's mysterious past.

Saba Tours. 5 star all the way. For a female traveling solo I never felt a need for concern. From the moment I landed until I was checked in for my flight home, Saba Tours had everything organized. My job was to enjoy myself. To the gracious Host and Hostess, Mohamed and Noha, and tour guides, Ahmed, Mohamed and Mohamed, thank you for sharing your love and knowledge of your country with us. I thank you for your generous gifts and endless snacks and drinks..Going above and beyond. Thank you for providing security on a daily bases. Going above and beyond. Thank you for the private visits to the pyramids. Going above and beyond. I cannot express the love and gratitude I came home with. Of course, all roads lead back to the wonderful podcast Host who made it all possible. Mr. Cliff Dunning. I thank you for expanding my curiosity to the world around me as well as within me. This is my second trip and looking forward to the 3rd. To the people on this trip with me, everyone that was a part of this trip in anyway shape or form, the crew on the ship, shops, we visited, home cooked meals, etc. Thank you all for helping me grow, emotionally, mentally, physically and most importantly spiritually 🌟✨⭐️✨🌟

I would not consider travelling to Egypt with anyone other than the Saba Tours family! This was my second extensive travel experience with them. Noha & Mohammed are the very models of leadership and humanity that we should all aspire to. As are each of their carefully chosen and nurtured team members, from their most experienced guides such as Hanaa and Ahmed Nagy, to their younger aspiring guides of Egypt like the young Mohammed. Not only were all of the logistical details of hugely complex tours meticulously planned and executed, but it was done with so much heart, consideration, and flexibility. Not only do Mohammed and Noha share their brilliantly considered understanding of ancient history, linguistics, sciences, philosophy, spirituality, but they also nurture and encourage thoughtful exploration and development by their team and every participant. They are true thought-leaders. I cannot recommend their tours highly enough.

Mohamed Ibrahim, his wife Noha, and his excellent team at Saba tours provide the best tour imaginable. The wealth of information at each site, first class accommodation, delicious food, (all at a most reasonable price) are beyond expectation. From pyramids to temples, desert to Nile, bus to boat, and from adventure to amazing adventure, one couldn’t ask for more! I toured with them once before and I will certainly do it again.

Fantastic Trip to Egypt with SABA Tours (with special attention to details). Especially appreciate the efforts of SABA Tours to assure we each had a memorable journey through the Giza plateau and beyond. The hotel accommodations were perfect, the drivers were amazing in Cairo traffic, all the staff were friendly, helpful and supportive at all levels, welcoming us as family and making me feel at home with new friends. The food was outstanding, both at the hotels and with private family restaurants. The daily tours to Giza plateau and Luxor were powerful and almost overwhelming, their was so much to experience and learn, and between Mohamed Ibrahim and Freddy Silva, I was torn which one to follow and listen to at any given time. My only complaint is that there was not enough time to fully experience each site, but as a first time exploration, it was enough to make me want to come back for more! I need to schedule another, longer trip that allows more time for appreciation of the energies encountered at each site visited. Thanks for a wonderful journey. Would recommend to everyone! *****
