After the success of our Megalithic Marvels Egypt Tour in May 2022, followed by Tour II in May 2023 and Tour III in May 2024, Saba Tours now invites you to join this unique journey once again. With the support of Noha Mohamed from Saba Tours, you are welcome to be part of Megalithic Marvels Tour IV in December 2026, as we explore Egypt together with Mohamed Ibrahim, his strong guiding team, and Derek Olson.

Arrive to Cairo and drive to Hyatt Centric hotel

- Arrive to Cairo airport

- Meet Saba Tours assistant (Saba’s assistant will hold a sign with the Saba logo, so he or she will welcome you and assist you with the visa and luggage.

- Then escort you to Saba’s van for your transfer to the hotel and assist you with check-in.

Giza Plateau

  

- Breakfast at the hotel at 6:00 AM onward 

- Visit Giza plateau at 8:00 AM 

- Walk around the great pyramid to visit the ruins of the pyramid temple to see the basalt floor and the tool 

  marks over the ancient advances machine. 

 

- Drive to Sphinx enclosure 

The Great Sphinx of Giza is one of the most iconic monuments in Egypt. It has the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, believed to represent King Khafre.

 

- Visit Valley temple 

The Valley Temple of Khafre is located near the Great Sphinx and the Pyramids of Giza. It was used for the mummification and purification rituals of the king before burial. 

- Optional Camel ride $20: Enjoy an optional camel ride for a truly authentic desert adventure.

Sakkara

- Drive to Sakkara at 8:00AM

- Visit Imhotep Museum 

 

- Visit Serapeum 

The Serapeum is an underground burial site in Saqqara, where the sacred Apis bulls were buried in massive granite sarcophagi. It dates to the New Kingdom and offers a mysterious and impressive look into ancient Egyptian religious practices.

- Visit the Step Pyramid Complex

- Go under the Step Pyramid (from the Southern Entrance)

 

- Lunch at an amazing local house 

- Drive to the hotel 

- Overnight at the hotel  

Day 04 (Dec 04th, 2026)

Fly to Aswan & Unfinished, Isis temple, Elephantine Island.

- Breakfast box

- Transfer to Cairo Airport for an early morning flight to Aswan 

 

- Drive to Phila Island 

- Take motorboat to Isis temple

- Visit Isis temple 

The Temple of Isis is one of the most beautiful and well-preserved temples in Egypt. 

 

- Drive to Unfinished Obelisk 

The Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan is the largest known ancient obelisk. It was carved directly into the bedrock but was never completed due to cracks in the stone. The site gives a unique insight into ancient Egyptian stone-cutting techniques and tools.

 

 

- Drive to the Nile Cruise & check-in 

- Lunch at the Nile Cruise 

 

- Take motorboat to Elephantin Island at 3:00 PM 

Elephantine Island is a magical and historic gem in Aswan, rich with ancient ruins, Nubian culture, and breathtaking views of the Nile, a place where history and beauty come together in perfect harmony, and to visit Satet temple and Khenom temple

 

- Optional visit essential oil store at 6:00 AM 

An Essential Oil Store is a place where natural plant extracts, known as essential oils, are sold for various uses such as aromatherapy, relaxation, skincare, and natural healing.

Kom Ombo temple & Edfu temple

- Visit Kom Ombo temple at 6:30 AM on foot.

 This temple is a unique double temple dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. 

- Walk back to the Nile Cruise 

 

- Breakfast at the Nile Cruise at 8:00 AM

- Visit Edfu temple 

- Edfu Temple is dedicated to Horus, the falcon god. It is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, with beautiful carvings and impressive architecture from the Ptolemaic period.

Dendera & Luxor temple

- Breakfast at the Nile Cruise 6:00 AM onward

- Drive to Dendera at 7:30 (2hr drive)

- Visit Hathor temple 

Hathor Temple is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. It is dedicated to the goddess Hathor, the goddess of love, beauty, and music. The temple features stunning astronomical ceilings, colourful reliefs, and the famous zodiac of Dendera.

 

- Drive back to Luxor (2hr drive)

- Drive back to the Nile Cruise

- Lunch at the Nile Cruise 

 

- Drive to Luxor temple at 5:00 PM

- Visit Luxor temple 

Luxor Temple is a magnificent ancient temple located in the heart of the city. It was built mainly by Amenhotep III and Ramses II and was dedicated to the god Amun.

Abydos

- Private Visit to Osirion Temple 11 – 1 PM 

- Visit Abydos temple (4hr drive)

The Temple of Seti I in Abydos is one of the most remarkable monuments of ancient Egypt. Built by Pharaoh Seti I and completed by his son Ramses II, it is dedicated to several deities, including Osiris, the god of the afterlife. The temple is renowned for its exquisite reliefs and vibrant colours, which are among the best-preserved in Egypt. It also houses the famous “Abydos King List,” an invaluable record of Egypt’s royal lineage.

West Bank & Karnak temple

- Breakfast at the hotel at 6:00 AM 

- Drive to the West bank at 07:00 AM 

 

- Drive to Hatshepsut temple

- Visit Hatshepsut Temple, which is a stunning mortuary temple built for Queen Hatshepsut, one of the few female pharaohs of Egypt.

- Visit The famouse Valley of the kings, The Valley of the Kings is one of the most famous archaeological sites in Egypt. It served as the royal burial ground for the pharaohs of the New Kingdom

 

- Lunch

 Optional Visit the Alabaster Factory (an alabaster workshop is a great place to see how traditional Egyptian stone crafts are made. You’ll watch skilled artisans hand-carve beautiful vases, statues, and other items from natural alabaster. It’s also a nice spot to buy unique souvenirs).

- Drive to Karnak temple 

Karnak temple which is one of the largest temple complexes in the world. It was built over 2,000 years and dedicated mainly to the god Amun and visit the Open-air Museum at Karnak.

And visit the chapel of 7 gates

Fly to Cairo & Private Visit to the Great Pyramid

- Drive to Giza Plateau at 6:00 PM

Fayoum

- Early breakfast at the hotel at 6:00 AM 

- Drive to Fayum at 7:30

- Visit Hawara pyramid

- Visit Lahun Pyramid area 

- Visit Lahun Pyramid from inside 

- Visit Meduim Pyramid

- Visit Mastaba 17

Fayum is one of the locations which housed the oldest settlement in Egypt after the Cataclysm, and also kept its presence during the entier Ancient Egyptian Civilization. We will first visit Hawara pyramid and explore the ruins of the Egyptian Labyrinth, drive to Laguna pyramid and have the chance to visit the pyramid from inside, and then we drive to Medium pyramid and also explore it from inside but also we will have a short adventure getting into Mastaba 17 where will will see a beautiful granite box with no writings and no information,

Dahshur & GEM

- Breakfast at the hotel at 6:00 AM 

 

- Drive to Dahshur 

Dahshur is an ancient royal necropolis south of Cairo, known for its unique pyramids. It is home to the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid, both built by King Snefru. These pyramids show the early evolution of pyramid construction in ancient Egypt.

- Visit the Grand Egyptian Museum  

The Grand Egyptian Museum is the largest archaeological museum in the world, located near the Pyramids of Giza.
