About your trip

Because Saba Tours is always keen to extend the adventure and give you the opportunity to explore what is mysterious and unique, we are offering additional optional trips after the main tour ends (Recovering Lost Technologies, Egypt tour March 2026), on March 04th, 17th, 18th, and 19th.

Each day has its own separate price depending on the visit.

Optional Trip One: A special and exclusive visit to the Osiris Shaft.

1/ Osiris Shaft is one of the most mysterious and restricted sites on the Giza Plateau. It is a deep multi-level underground structure linked to ancient rituals of Osiris, the god of the afterlife. Because of its depth and limited access, visiting the Osiris Shaft is extremely rare and considered a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Important Note:

If you suffer from heart problems, heart attack, high blood pressure, or claustrophobia (fear of deep or enclosed spaces), this visit is not suitable for you.

Optional Trip two: Al-Fayoum and Al-Minya.

Fayoum is one of the most ancient regions in Egypt, rich with deep historical mysteries and unique archaeological sites.

Minya is home to some of Egypt’s most remarkable archaeological sites. It includes ancient tombs carved into the cliffs of Beni Hasan, showcasing unique Middle Kingdom art and daily-life scenes, as well as the city of Akhetaten (Tell el-Amarna), founded by Akhenaten and dedicated to the worship of the Aten. These sites reveal a rich chapter of Egyptian history filled with distinctive art, royal reforms, and powerful cultural transformations.
